Remuneration
* Clinical Nurse Specialist Gde 2: $58.83 to $60.76 per hour
* Psychologist: $40.58 - $59.39 per hour
* Clinical Psychologist: $57.30 to $69.84 per hour
* Senior Psychologist: $62.53 to $67.75 per hour
* Occupational Therapist Level 3: $58.95 to $60.86 per hour
* Social Worker Level 3: $58.95 to $60.86 per hour

About the Service
Community Mental Health Clinicians provide expert assessment, therapy, and care coordination for individuals navigating mental health challenges – right where they live. You'll be part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team committed to promoting recovery and resilience.
What You'll Be Doing
YMHI Senior Clinicians will deliver trauma‑informed, culturally safe, intensive therapeutic interventions and integrated psychosocial responses to young people experiencing complex and severe mental health concerns. They will also provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to ensure strengths‑based, recovery‑oriented care and treatment. The role involves enhancing early access for 12‑25 year olds, collaborating with partner agencies, developing streamlined referral pathways, and ensuring timely transition of care.
Selection Criteria
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) for Social Workers. Significant clinical experience in child and youth mental health is highly desirable.
* Extensive postgraduate clinical experience and knowledge in evidence‑based mental health assessment and treatment for young people and their carers, with a demonstrated understanding of trauma‑informed care principles.
* Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improve consumer care and outcomes.
* Effective interpersonal skills, highly developed written and verbal communication skills, and competence in information technology systems.
* Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes, and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
* Ability to provide clinical supervision and support to staff and students.
* Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's licence and willingness to drive/travel as required, including long distances and overnight stays.
