About the role

It is important to note that this position is not a laboratory role.

The Quality Assurance Officer will see their work day split between working in the production area, completing produce inspections and the other half completing administrative duties within an office environment.

Key duties include (but not limited to)

• Assuring audit readiness year-round by maintaining internal audit and verifications
• Assure customer satisfaction through performing inspections of product
• Analyse retention samples of products
• Reporting identified produce quality issues
• Liaise with Production and Distribution daily
• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Performing higher duties as required
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Solid decision making skills
• Sound Computer skills
• High attention to detail
• Highly motivated
• Flexibility
• HACAP or Freshcare certification is advantageous but not required for this role
