Seeder Operators

Position:
We are seeking experienced farm machinery operators to operate two of the three air seeders on a large broadacre cropping & sheep farm in western Victoria.
The work will involve:
* Operating one of three seeders: John Deere 60ft bar with JD bin, a JD 40ft bar with JD bin & an NDF 40ft with Simplicity bin.
* Operating Case Steigers (535) & John Deere tractors (9560R) and other tractors as needed
* General maintenance and upkeep of infrastructure around the farm
These are casual positions with consistent work and long days.

Requirements:
* General knowledge and practical application of large scale farm cropping machinery, preventative maintenance and repairs
* Proven experience operating and maintaining modern high tech machinery
* Ability to work within a large operation.
Remuneration:
Hourly rate of $36/hr, with accommodation on farm provided.
