Our client is a highly regarded Global Investment Manager.They are seeking a bright individual to step into a Client relationship Managerrole.
This role provides day-to-day support to a team of Relationship/Sales Managers on their portfolios of institutional clients. It requires the skills of a strong client service associate who preferably already has client service, administrator, performance reporting or RFP writing experience with an institutional fund manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
* Provides client servicing support to Relationship Managers
* Produce monthly and quarterly and other regular reports in a timely manner
* Takes lead on all operational/compliance issues that are highlighted by our clients and their custodians and ensures the responses received from internal stakeholders is appropriate
* Prompt response to client queries liaising as necessary internally to obtain accurate and timely answers
* Produce client meeting books
* Assist with client transitions and working with the Fund Implementation team
* Direct liaison with Legal & Compliance, Operations, Data Analysts, and third party custodians
* Liaise with accounting and operations teams in NY
* Maintain accuracy of client database system (SalesForce)
* General administration
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will possess:
* Proven experience in a client service, custody, reporting or marketing communications role.
* Good understanding of different asset classes and active management.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients.
* Strong emphasis on client satisfaction and service including responding to clients on a timely basis.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
* Strong analytical ability and in-depth understanding of detailed investment reports, portfolio valuations, transaction statements, etc.
* Strong understanding of the operational aspects and requirements of institutional segregated accounts
* Interest and aptitude in supporting sales initiatives.
* Good time management skills and adaptability to cyclical nature of role.
* Able to meet demanding periodic reporting deadlines.
* Genuine interest in fund management and finance.
* Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and client database management skills.
* Familiarity with Salesforce, eVestment etc would be desirable.
