ResponsibilitiesInstallation at customer sitesSafe offloading, receipt and delivery of parts to installation locationFollow company and customer health and safety requirementsFollow company procedures and process for safe and technically correct installationRaise shortages to the PM/Installation Manager and advise of part number to aid expediting and installation of shortage itemsCorrect short commissioning sign offCorrect behavior on customer premisesMaintaining a clean and tidy work environment at all timesCompleting own administration in a timely manner (e.g., timesheets, expenses, training)Act in a professional manner at all times, promoting company's ethics and valuesCarry out other reasonable tasks as requested by line managerEducation And ExperienceMust have an A Class Electrical license (essential)Construction Skills Certification Scheme card or equivalent is desirable but not essentialProven mechanical aptitude with hand tools experience or proven electrical aptitude with experienceKnowledge of low voltage supplies and control wiring if electrical bias is desirable but not essentialSkills And AttributesMust be physically fit with the ability to safely manually handle equipment and work at heights (A-frame ladder) whilst installing capital equipment (Essential)Self-motivated with the ability to work in a small team under pressureProven team spirit/leadershipEvidence of practical engineering experience and competenceEvidence of understanding of engineering drawingAbility to take measurements from drawings and apply to installationEvidence of safe working attitude towards self and othersDemonstrated ability to interpret informationDemonstrated good oral and written communication skillsEvidence of completing and finishing tasks to a high standardAble to represent the company at all times; well presented, polite, courteous, punctualThere is also a requirement to travel domestically in this role.Equal OpportunityBecton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Chance/Affirmative Action Employer.
