This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.Key Details:Male and Female Support Staff RequiredFlexible Shifts across Monday - SundayHours ranging from 2 to 8 hours per shiftIMMEDIATE Start for the right candidateKey ResponsibilitiesAssisting Participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks within their own home and/or across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) Homes.Accompanying and supporting Participants during social, recreational, and community-based activities.Advocating for Participants' needs and ensuring their rights and preferences are respected.Documenting Participant progress and maintaining accurate records.Collaborating with the wider care team to develop and implement individualised support plans.Promoting Participant independence, choice, and self-determination.What We're Looking ForA genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to person-centred care.Relevant experience in the aged care, disability, or community services sectors.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with Participants.A problem-solving mindset and the flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each Participant.Completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.A current First Aid/CPR Certificate.Valid Driver's License & Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance.MUST HAVE NDIS Compliance Documents: Blue & Yellow Cards.What We OfferAt Miss Moo Disability Support, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that values the contributions of our dedicated team.
