**Health and Safety Advisor**
Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking an experienced Health and safety advisor to join our project-based civil engineering teams. Reporting to the finance manager, you will be responsible for managing, administering, and processing company accounts efficiently and accurately within the specified guidelines.
As part of a growing team with a commitment to excellence, you will be provided with challenging work on a wide range engineering and civil infrastructure projects. You will be required working on our Toowoomba Regional Council flood recovery works project with the intention on staying in our business thereafter and moving to upcoming projects.

**What you will do**:
- Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective relationships that facilitate the successful communication and implementation of Georgiou's HSE systems
- Ensure project teams are adequately trained to perform their HSE responsibilities and provide ongoing coaching to ensure total compliance with internal HSE systems and legislative requirements
- Support the business in the preparation of toolbox and HSE pre-start content
- Implements and communicates improvements and strategies in response to changes impacting HSE activities
- Maintaining and assisting in the ongoing development of Georgiou's HSE systems
- Influence a positive attitude and commitment towards safety across the business
**What you are good at**:
- Aside from having experience in a previous safety role with working knowledge ideally within the civil construction industry and chain of responsibility requirements. You should have demonstrated examples to showcase:
- Thorough Knowledge of AS/NZS 4801, ISO 14001, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Act & Regulations
- Incident Investigation experience
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act
- Implement a personalised brand of exemplary safety behaviour
- Continuing to maintain the high standard of safety management policies and procedures in place.
