Are you a passionate and experienced Senior Sous Chef looking for your next exciting challenge? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team. As a Sous Chef at Peppina, you will exhibit your culinary talents by personally performing tasks while assisting in leading the staff and managing all food-related functions. Your role will be pivotal in continually improving guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance across all areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in overseeing all kitchen areas, ensuring a consistent, high-quality product is produced.
* Establish and uphold culinary standards and activities to achieve excellence.
* Maintain high culinary standards and responsibilities, ensuring exceptional customer service.
* Mentor and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Manage all food preparation areas, including banquets, room service, Mary Mary bar, and Deco lounge.
* Oversee support areas such as stewarding and purchasing.
What Weâre Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef and a Chef trade qualification.
* Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team, leading by example.
* Strong relationships with producers, ensuring quality sourced produce.
* Impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
* Willingness to take initiative and make sound business decisions.
* A genuine passion for cooking and a strong customer service focus.
* Current knowledge of culinary trends and industry best practices with a growth mindset.
* Determination and reliability, with availability to work late nights and weekends as required.
