We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team on permanent night shift based in Adelaide.
The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of electrical systems and production equipment across our manufacturing facility during night operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on production and packaging equipment
* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
* Diagnose faults on automated machinery and PLC-controlled systems
* Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production teams to restore operations quickly
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Ensure all work complies with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and efficiency
About You
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent trade qualification)
* Previous experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial production environments
* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, and automated equipment is highly regarded
* Ability to work independently on night shift and prioritise maintenance tasks
* Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
