Rehabilitation Care Specialist Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional rehabilitation care specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Hunter New England Local Health District.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive patient-centred care plans that cater to individual needs and goals.
* Deliver high-quality nursing care aligned with patient expectations and healthcare standards.
* Contribute to the rehabilitation of patients recovering from Acute Stroke, Limb Amputation, neurological disorders, and aged care needs in a collaborative inpatient environment.
* Develop advanced skills in enablement for effective patient outcomes through participation in education opportunities and clinical preceptorship with support from a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Requirements
* Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or NZ citizenship with a current NZ passport. Temporary visa holders may be considered if no suitable local candidate is identified in line with visa conditions.
