We have an opportunity for a Junior Civil Designer to join our Community Development team in Perth office. Reporting to the CAD Team Lead, the Junior Civil Designer will contribute to delivering design/drafting solutions for a variety of land, urban and subdivision projects.
Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. The role
* Providing technical input as per the scope of work to undertake designs in accordance with current technical standards, DA conditions, Council and local authority requirements.
* Interpreting civil design requirements State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients
* Fulfilling administrative requirements for the project as required from time to time by the Project Manager, such as the description of service performed in a particular period for inclusion in fee accounts.
* Interfacing with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping
* Performing various duties from time to time in relation to a project as defined by the Design Lead, Project Manager, Engineering Manager or 2IC.
About you
Base salary between $75,000 and $85,000
* Min 2 years Civil Designer experience within a consulting environment
* Completed Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Demonstrated experience using 12D software
* Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high standard of grammar and punctuation
