About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Data Architect to design and manage the organisation's data architecture. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Designing scalable data architectures by developing and implementing secure models and integration strategies.
* Ensuring data integrity and quality by establishing governance frameworks and quality standards.
* Optimising database systems by recommending solutions for configuring information systems and managing data migration from legacy systems.
* Standardising data models and metadata by developing and maintaining logical and physical data models.
* Maintaining compliance and security by implementing data security policies and ensuring adherence to data privacy laws and regulations.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Data Science or Information Technology.
* Proven experience designing enterprise data architectures including data warehousing solutions and real-time data pipelines.
* In-depth knowledge of data management concepts, including data governance and data quality.
* Proficient in SQL, ELT processes and big data framework.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
