About the role
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience delivering commercial construction projects valued over $60m across various sectors. The role will provide a high level of operational support and strategic guidance to our South Australian business unit, and will be considered a leadership position within the group.
About you
Leading a team of construction staff, you need to be a motivated individual with outstanding leadership capabilities and industry knowledge. 10+ years of experience will be required. You will demonstrate your professional ability in:
* Autonomous delivery of construct‐only and/or design and construct commercial building projects in Tier 1 or Tier 2 markets;
* Leading and managing teams of construction professionals, including mentoring, training and performance management;
* Outstanding stakeholder management and client focus;
* Understanding of building methodologies and current industry best practice;
* Knowledge of the QHSE Act and legislation;
* Quality management and continuous improvement processes;
* Monthly reporting of all project requisites;
* Effective implementation and knowledge of AS Form of Contracts;
* Negotiation and dispute resolution skills;
* Experience working within externally and FSC accredited systems.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is required, as is the ability to operate Microsoft Project, financial systems, and possess commercial and trade knowledge. Experience using CHEOPS is highly desirable. A legal entitlement to work in Australia is essential.
