Job Description:
The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Senior Archivist to support the development, preservation, and accessibility of its archival collections.
This role will shape the future of archival practice through strategic initiatives to modernise workflows, enhance discoverability, and ensure long-term preservation using emerging technologies.
* Investigate new technologies for intelligent search capabilities across the collections.
* Oversight of digital preservation strategies and systems, ensuring compliance with National Archives standards.
About this role:
* A degree in archives, information management, or a related discipline.
* Extensive experience in archival practice, including research and access.
Key responsibilities include leading appraisal, arrangement, and description of records, including born-digital materials.
