We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team based in Belconnen, ACT. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to meaningful projects in a supportive, sustainability-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Assist civil engineers and project teams in the planning and delivery of residential and commercial developments Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and documentation using CAD software for earthworks, grading, drainage, and foundation designs Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with engineering designs Estimate material quantities, costs, and construction timelines Liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to support project coordination Ensure compliance with Australian standards, codes, and environmental best practices Maintain accurate project records and technical reports Skills and Experience Qualifications: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field (or equivalent industry experience) Experience: At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in a civil engineering technician role (post-qualification), ideally with exposure to residential subdivisions, townhouse developments, or commercial civil works Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian engineering standards, drainage, earthworks, and foundation design Other: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
