Kitchen Assistant/Cook – Myoora Hostel

The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our caring team at Myoora Hostel in the beautiful Riverina Murray Region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing wholesome meals in a supportive environment, with weekend availability essential.
What You'll Do
* Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals for our residents
* Provide friendly and respectful table service
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with clearing duties
* Comply with Food Safety and HACCP regulations
* Be part of a team committed to resident wellbeing and quality care
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in meal preparation and kitchen work
* Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP compliance
* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen; aged care experience desirable
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
