About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Service Coordinator to join our team at Sydney Airport. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing exceptional customer service, and managing disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise between Operations and other teams to coordinate daily aircraft operations
* Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure all relevant information is shared efficiently
* Coordinate changes to shift rosters as required
* Provision and delegation of daily planning requirements, including flight editing, passenger loads, and ticket sales
* Manage disrupted services and affected passengers, ensuring their needs are met promptly
* Accountable for on-time operation, reporting any issues
* Counsel staff as needed
* Monitor service providers' performance and ensure it meets contractual obligations
* Responsible for company procedural and regulatory compliance
* Respond effectively in emergency situations
* Maintain company equipment and facilities
* Monitor uniform standards and address any issues
* Cash handling and balancing of the ASR at end of shift
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Good understanding of airport operations and procedures
* Able to work under pressure and as part of a team
* High computer literacy, including knowledge of SABRE
* Familiarity with policies and procedures
