Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Store Person to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. Your role In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Reporting to the Logistics & Facilities Coordinator, ensure that you maintain regulatory compliance for Aeronautical products, Safety for dangerous goods within area of responsibility and hazardous items packed and transported from /into the store. Responsible safety and compliance with the Store Persons area of responsibility. Maintain stock & MIS integrity and Stock control through accurate data interfacing with Maintenance Inventory systems, compliant stock segregation and storage and receipt inspection for incoming aeronautical parts & tooling Support to immediate engineering teams for equipment/aeronautical products required for maintenance tasks Adherence to additional safety /security related regulations such as/ but not limited to: NHVR COR regulations, Known consignor regulations, airport security, group policies and EAR/ITAR regulations The essential requirements Experience within a Stores or 3PL logistics environment Experience within aviation engineering environment. Ability to follow supervisory direction; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Consistent positive and proactive attitude; Passion for safe work practices; Valid work visa; Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and, Current Australian licences to operate vehicles/machines. Shifts will be primarily rolling 12 hour shift pattern 2 days / 2 nights 4 days off.
