As the HSE Lead for Austal Ships you'll be responsible for playing a key leadership role within the HSE department, partnering with and providing guidance, advice and support to the Landing Craft Heavy (LCH) Project Team on HSE deliverables.

What's Involved
* Maintain Austal Ships Management Plans and other specific Project Management Documents – Risk Assessments, House Keeping Plans, Site Management Plans, Emergency Response Plans/Procedures
* Assure responsive team facilitation of Hazard and Incident Management activities, including communicating, reporting and investigation
* Support, monitor and guide LCH and site stakeholders in Injury Management process
* Deliver specific, accurate and timely information in accordance with reporting obligations set by Austal Ships & the Principle Contractor
* Implementation of Austal HSE Management System deliverables to assure process consistency in reducing harm/risk and continual improvement assuring an output of credible application through ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification
You'll Need
* Diploma or Work Health and Safety
* White Card
* 5-8+ years experience in a similar role
* Competent with Internal Auditor
* Experience leading HSE team
* Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
