About the Role
Our client is experiencing significant national growth and is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Affairs Manager to lead strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, government relations and reputation management across a complex and evolving platform.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will play a critical part in supporting the organisation's external positioning, strategic growth agenda and engagement with key stakeholders across government, industry, investment and the broader community.
This is a highly strategic and externally facing leadership role suited to someone who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and enjoys operating across communications, public affairs, media and executive engagement.
Key responsibilities
* Leading the development and execution of corporate communications and public affairs strategies
* Managing relationships across government, industry bodies, media and external stakeholders
* Supporting policy engagement and advocacy initiatives relevant to the housing and property sector
* Developing executive communications, investor communications and strategic messaging
* Leading media relations, reputation management and issues management activity
* Supporting stakeholder engagement strategies across major projects and developments
* Overseeing external communications including content, digital communications and corporate collateral
* Monitoring policy, planning and regulatory developments impacting the sector
* Leading and mentoring a small Corporate Affairs function
About You
You are an experienced Corporate Affairs, Communications or Government Relations professional with the ability to operate confidently in commercially complex and high-profile environments.
You may come from:
* Property or Real Estate
* Infrastructure or Development
* Financial Services or Superannuation
* Government or Public Policy
* Corporate Affairs or Strategic Communications consulting
To be successful
* Significant experience across corporate affairs, strategic communications and stakeholder engagement
* Strong government relations and policy engagement capability
* Excellent written communication and executive presentation skills
* Experience managing media, reputational issues and sensitive stakeholder matters
* Strong commercial judgement and political awareness
* The ability to influence and collaborate across executive leadership teams and external stakeholders
* A calm, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
