About the Team The Research Excellence and Support (RES) Hub offers a central point for the UTS research community to come together through digital and physical facilities for training, collaboration, consultation, events and engagement. RES Hub works to ensure the community of collaborators, professional staff, academics and researchers are supported throughout the research lifecycle by:
• Offering physical spaces on the UTS City Campus for the research community at UTS to connect, collaborate and engage within the university and externally.
• Providing an intuitive digital platform ) providing access to research information, support and digital tools that enable impactful research practice and collaborations at UTS. RES Hub is entering a new phase of proactive engagement with a particular focus on digital storytelling. We are seeking an experienced and creative Digital Content Producer to help us share extraordinary stories emerging from our vibrant research community. About the Role As the Digital Content Producer, you will play a pivotal role in documenting inspiring research journeys to help build capability and impact. We are looking for a skilled creative with a proven track record in producing websites, high-impact video stories, visual communication assets and written content for diverse audiences. You will:
• Lead the creation of engaging digital content – including videos, editorial features, case studies, interviews, podcasts, blog posts, infographics and more.
• Drive ideas from concept to delivery – generating story ideas, scripting, shooting, directing, editing and developing strategies for content dissemination across multiple platforms.
• Mentor and collaborate – provide feedback and guidance to colleagues, upskill team members, support academic researchers in developing their communication and foster a culture of creative excellence within the UTS research community.
• Enhance RES Hub's digital strategy– work with team members to continuously improve the RES Hub website's user experience and functionality and coordinate website migration projects in partnership with IT and communications teams.
• Champion research impact – work closely with researchers, research management professionals, faculties, partners and UTS staff to amplify the reach and influence of UTS research stories. About You You are:
• An accomplished content producer with strong video production skills and a professional portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft compelling stories through video, written and graphic formats.
• Experienced in all aspects of video production: ideas generation, scripting, shooting, directing, editing and strategic dissemination.
• A strong writer, able to translate complex research into accessible, engaging narratives for web and social media.
• A keen eye for visual storytelling, design skills or ability to use digital design tools would be an advantage.
• Confident working independently and collaboratively, with excellent organisational and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop a range of content as part of a communication strategy – from written blog posts to audio and video content and infographics.2. Strong video production skills with proven capabilities in directing, scripting, shotting, editing and working knowledge of creative design software 5. Experience in website production and maintenance well regarded. Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $107,402 - $118,813 pa (HEW 7) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. This position is full-time, and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
