The ad sales team is responsible for the advertising vision, development, and growth of our largest advertising partnerships.
This team was recently formed and is seeking additional founding team members to build an industry-leading ads and promotions business across DoorDash's core categories, starting with enterprise restaurant and consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands.
The growing DoorDash ads business aims to become the premier platform for merchants and brands to market to local customers, creating a mutually beneficial ecosystem.About the RoleAs an Enterprise Ad Sales & Partnerships Manager, you will develop partnerships that deliver tangible value to DoorDash, merchants, and CPG advertisers.
You will manage advertising strategies for a focused portfolio of restaurant and CPG accounts and promote the adoption of our expanding ads and promotions offerings.
Collaboration with account management, marketing, analytics, and product teams will be essential to innovate our approach and solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBe a founding member of the DoorDash Ads & Promos team.Lead end-to-end advertising discussions with a portfolio of enterprise restaurant advertisers.Drive product and feature adoption to grow advertiser value and sustainable revenue for DoorDash.Lead and develop a team of individual contributors (Account Executives, Account Managers, Franchise Account Executives) to surpass business growth, product adoption, and revenue goals.Develop sales strategies, including annual and quarterly plans, to enable future scaling of the team and business.Build trusted relationships with senior-level clients and provide thought leadership within the restaurant industry.Represent the voice of enterprise restaurant advertisers to influence our Ads & Promos product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.Ideal Candidate Profile5-10 years of experience in digital media sales, with a consultative selling approach.Proven leadership in advertising sales within digital media or ecommerce, with a track record of high-impact results.Strong ability to utilize data and insights to inform strategies and navigate organizational complexities.Deep understanding of ecommerce, performance marketing, and media, with knowledge of digital advertising metrics and attribution.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing executive stakeholders.Experience hiring and developing diverse talent to drive business impact and contribute to company culture.Strong pipeline management skills, balancing short-term wins with mid-term strategic impact.Nice to Have: Experience working directly with restaurant or CPG advertisers or similar sectors.Why You'll Love Working at DoorDashWe are leaders—Leadership is embraced at all levels.We are operators—We build solutions to shape our future.We are learners—Continuous improvement is part of our culture.We are one team—Collaboration drives our success and growth.
