HOUSEKEEPER
Inside Hobart manages private home holiday accommodation in the greater Hobart region.
Our friendly and skilled team of housekeepers understand how important the guest experience is to the success and longevity of our business and they prepare our homes to the highest possible standard – five-star cleaning reviews are our collective goal
We are looking for experienced casual housekeepers who can work up to 20 hours per week.
The successful candidate must be available to work weekdays with preference given to those who can also be available for some weekends.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of housekeeping experience.
Prior holiday accommodation or short-term rental cleaning experience is required.
Job Requirements
Amazing attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics is super important.
Own vehicle and driver's licence crucial.
Up to date, working smartphone with reliable internet access (we use an app based roster system).
Prepared to undertake a police check.
Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and efficiency.
A reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
Successful applicants must have an amazing eye for detail, be trustworthy, flexible and ultimately show care for the property they are responsible for by providing a pristine, tidy, hygienic and beautifully styled environment for our guests to enjoy.
Although you will mostly work independently, you are also part of a team therefore great communication, a friendly nature and the willingness to be supportive of the greater team is important.
Tasks & responsibilities
Dusting, sanitising, vacuuming, mopping, thorough inspection of indoor and outdoor appliances and amenities, cleaning of kitchens, lounge rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms and watering plants.
Stripping and making beds (triple sheeting), renewing linen and house supplies.
Filling out a daily checklist and reporting any supply and/or maintenance issues.
