ATOM is a leading Australian supplier of industrial hardware, safety equipment and workwear, with over 40 years of experience supporting Mining, Civil, Government, Oil & Gas, Construction, Engineering and Commercial industries.
We're currently looking for a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator to join our Darwin warehouse team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a close-knit team, and taking pride in getting orders right.
About the Role
Based at our Darwin branch, you'll play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, with a strong focus on Loading/unloading goods and general store duties to ensure our customers receive the right product, on time, every time.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Loading and unloading containers and trucks
* Moving goods to designated areas
* Performing minor maintenance tasks on forklift trucks
* Stocktaking and some administrative tasks relating to incoming and outgoing goods
* Assisting with general warehouse duties, including put-away, stock movements and adhoc stocktakes
* Using warehouse systems to process deliveries, orders and paperwork
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
* Supporting the wider team to meet daily targets and service expectations
About You
You're someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in being reliable and accurate. You like being part of a team that supports each other and gets the job done.
You'll bring:
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Previous warehouse or storeperson experience (preferred but not essential)
* A current Forklift Licence (LO) – Must have
* A current Driver Licence
* Basic computer skills (MS Office / warehouse systems)
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
* Physical fitness and comfort with manual handling tasks, ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg)
