Roster: 12 hours (Roster by Negotiation)
Salary Range: Graduate $86,600 to Experienced Proficient Teacher $126,795 FTE Gross per annum plus 12.75% superannuation

St Therese's School, Bentley Park - an integral part of the Cairns Diocese located just 20 minutes south of Cairns City, provides Catholic Education to students in the growing enrolment area of 620 students, Prep to Year 6.
About The Role
St Therese's School, Bentley Park is inviting applications for a passionate teacher with experience in supporting multilingual learners in developing English language skills. The successful applicant will work as an EAL/D teacher with current and existing students, focusing on developing and effectively implementing responses to support curriculum needs of multi‑lingual learners. Individual and small group support will be provided in identifying the English language learning needs of all EAL/D students using band scales.
As a Teacher You Will
- Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and planning.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.
Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate.
Work Requirements
- Be registered or eligible to be registered with Queensland College of Teachers.
- Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.
