**The Division**

The Customer Strategy & Technology division is focused on creating the future of mobility in NSW, and shaping a world-leading transport system for our customers and communities.

**The Opportunity**

Right now, we are looking for a **Manager Business Coordination** to join the Office of the Deputy Secretary in the Customer Strategy & Technology Division. In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering high level business support to the Deputy Secretary and ensure the efficient functioning of the division. You will be responsible for co-ordinating a vast array of business inputs including strategic priorities, presentations, reporting, abd executive processes.

You will make continuous business improvements, eliminating inefficiencies through process transformation. Drawing on a solid understanding of business management and well-developed relationship skills, you will manage the flow of requests in and out of the Office of the Deputy Secretary ensuring emerging issues are highlighted and effectively managed.

This role provides vital support as a key member of the ODS team as well as working directly with members of the divisional leadership team.

The role includes (but is not limited to):

- Making autonomous decisions on business co-ordination and issues resolution as appropriate, exercising sound judgment, tact and maintaining confidentiality
- Leading by example in modelling and embedding the organisation's values, including managing a small team of business and executive support resources
- Work collaboratively across the division to deliver the key objectives and priorities as well as broader value for the organisation
- Coordinate business management processes for the Division/Branch, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and initiatives.
- Draft plans and communications for approval by the Division/Branch
- Provide advice, secretariat and executive co-ordination support to the Division/Branch on a wide variety of business matters, including people, finance and procurement

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in business and/or executive co-ordination. You will be an influential team player, working closely with a range of stakeholders at all levels to deliver solutions and resolve issues.

You will be accustomed to working in a high-volume environment against tight deadlines.

As the Manager Business Coordination, you will be provided with autonomy, as well as the support and backing of an experienced leadership team to enable high level coordination and output. Your resilience will see you thrive in an ever-changing politically sensitive landscape. You will have highly developed verbal and written communication skills ensuring progress updates, risks and issues are communicated effectively. This role also requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality whilst handling critical and sensitive information.

The salary for this position is Transport Grade 9 $138,670 - $155,309 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
