We are seeking a skilled E&I technician to join our team. This role involves working on electrical and instrumentation trade activities within the GLNG maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
* Install electrical and instrumentation equipment in hazardous areas, ensuring compliance with AS/NZS 60079 standards.
* Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations to verify integrity and safety.
* Maintain and repair explosion-protected equipment, troubleshooting faults in hazardous area systems as needed.
Our ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, including a QLD Electrical Licence and Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820). Prior experience in oil & gas or mining industries is highly desirable. The ability to work at heights is essential, with certification required for EWP Yellow Card – below 11m (RIIHAN301D) or WP – 11m and over certificate (TLILIC2005A).
