The opportunity:
We are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical to join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team, supporting Depot Maintenance for the E7A - Wedgetail Program at RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland.
As a BDA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain aircraft systems and perform depot servicing, including system modification, manufacture, and assembly activities for aircraft and components.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain qualifications and certifications related to B1 AME Licence as per MOE.
* Ensure maintenance activities follow approved processes and procedures.
* Guide and instruct subordinate technical staff.
* Perform trade activities according to manuals, plans, and engineering drawings.
Experience/Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) - Essential.
* Ability to obtain DASR Part 66 MAML.
* Knowledge of aviation QA procedures and DASR 145 regulations.
* Security clearance of NV1 or ability to obtain.
* Meet ITARS security requirements.
* Hold a C class driver’s license.
* Knowledge of WHS practices.
* Experience with 737NG or similar aircraft - Desirable.
* Previous depot maintenance experience - Desirable.
* Australian citizenship required.
