Assistant Manager – (Pakenham)
we are looking for a hands-on, motivated Assistant Manager to join our fast-paced café team.
We're a busy, community-loved café known for great coffee, quality food and strong team culture. We're looking for someone who leads from the front, thrives under pressure and genuinely loves hospitality.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting daily café operations
* Leading and motivating the floor team
* Managing shifts and service flow
* Handling customer service and resolving issues professionally
* Assisting with stock control and ordering
* Opening and closing the café
* Supporting training and development of staff
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality leadership
* Strong barista knowledge (must understand coffee service)
* Confident, calm and solutions-focused
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to manage busy periods efficiently
* Flexible availability including weekends
