The VenueThe Australian War Memorial combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive. The Memorial's purpose is to commemorate the sacrifice of those Australians who have died in war. Its mission is to assist Australians to remember, interpret and understand the Australian experience of war and its enduring impact on Australian society. The venue includes Poppy's Café, The Landing Place Café and multiple events spaces.

We are looking for an outstanding person who has had experience working in a fast paced kitchen, functions and events and delivering good quality modern food.
Do you have?Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional kitchenAble to work five days across a seven day operationMust have Qualifications or equivalent trade experienceHACCP and sound Food Safety knowledgePrepared to work across multi outlets including restaurant service, events and functionsExceptional grooming and pride in presentationAbility to produce quality food, use fresh produce and be creativeYou are passionate, dedicated, reliable and are willing to learnFlexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills
