About the Role
We are seeking to hire a Storeperson / Fire Equipment Technician to join our local team. This individual must be a team player, with the ability to be proactive, work autonomously and have strong detailed orientated skills. Specific duties include sales order processing, pick and packing of products, cross checking orders, engagement of transport companies, maintenance of consignment notes, responsibility for inwards goods receipts, responsibility for checking and storage of goods in the warehouse, warehouse maintenance and manufacturing of products.

You will also be given the opportunity to complete Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing. This will allow you to support our Fire Equipment Division
by servicing Fire Equipment in accordance with the Australian Standards.
Your primary duties as a Fire Equipment Technician will include:-
* Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian Standards
* Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards to fire protection equipment
* Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly relationship
* Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements
* Completing service records using smart device technology
If you have a passion to work in the emergency services industry, this may be the role for you. Prior warehouse experience would be advantageous but not required. Current forklift license required.
