About the Role Provide strategic leadership and direction in the planning, development, implementation, management and delivery of key strategic programs and initiatives related to the Youth Justice Reform Blueprint including the development, implementation and review of frameworks, policies, systems and processes that support the delivery of key project outcomes. We are offering Temporary from 8 January 2026 up to 1 October 2026 Full-time, 76 hours per fortnight Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. We are looking for Essential Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: 1 Conviction checks in the following areas: a) crimes of violence b) sex related offences c) serious drug offences d) crimes involving dishonesty e) serious traffic offences 2 Identification check 3 Disciplinary actions in previous employment check Desirable Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution in a relevant field Current Drivers Licence Please note: The cost associated with obtaining a RWVP is the responsibility of the individual.
