The Opportunity
Are you a driven finance professional looking to grow your career within Veolia's transport business? Join our SA Environmental Services commercial finance team. In your day-to-day, you will prepare and review financial and management reports, working closely with operational and finance leaders, to deliver insights to improve performance and support strategic decision making. This is a permanent full-time role based in our Kilburn office, with the option to occasionally work from home.

What you'll be responsible for
* Preparation and delivery of financial and management reports working closely with operational business partners and the Finance Manager
* Financial analysis and variance reporting, with a focus on understanding the operational drivers behind performance
* Build and maintain commercial models and profitability reviewsn
* Balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with accounting standards
* Own the annual budget process and ongoing forecasting activities
* Ad hoc accounting and finance tasks
What would be advantageous
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent and significant accounting experience
* Must be working towards completion of CA or CPA qualification (or qualified)
* Demonstrated experience within an accounting or financial analyst position with skills gained in a high volume and complex business
* Audit experience desirablen
* Experience with SAP, TM1, Gsuite and MS office is an advantage
* Experience in logistics or waste industries would be beneficial but not essential
