With a growing reputation for excellence and innovation, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee key projects across Melbourne. This is a crucial leadership role where your ability to drive outcomes and uphold industry best practices will be highly valued.
We are looking for a strong leader with deep project management expertise, particularly within the rail and infrastructure space, who thrives in a fast‐paced, solutions‐focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the management of designated projects from conversion to handover and review.
* Ensure compliance with legislative, environmental, and IMS (Integrated Management System) standards.
* Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
* Oversee financial controls, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Drive subcontractor engagement and ensure alignment with project schedules.
* Develop and implement site establishment plans in line with SJM's IMS.
* Conduct project audits and monitor performance metrics.
* Coordinate client and consultant meetings and manage all stakeholder communications.
* Provide leadership to Site Managers, Engineers, and Project Teams.
* Participate in project kick‐off and closeout procedures, ensuring compliance and documentation.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Project Management or similar.
* Experience working on MTM, Vline and ARTC live rail projects.
* Current RIW card or ability to obtain before commencement.
* Strong understanding of rail signalling documentation, ISO/AEO delivery standards, and construction requirements.
* Proven leadership in delivering complex signalling projects within budget and timelines.
* High‐level organisation, problem‐solving, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of safety and compliance frameworks including ISO9001, AS/NZS4801, and ISO14001.
* Knowledge of signalling, communications systems, and train control systems.
* Proficient in MS Project as well as spreadsheet, project management, and email communication tools.
