Wilderluxe is where luxury meets the wild. As the high end glamping brand of Reflections at Lake Keepit, we offer guests a curated nature escape with all the comforts of boutique accommodation including outdoor baths, skylight stargazing and uninterrupted views under big sky country.
Wilderluxe is the newest accommodation offering by Reflections Holidays and quickly gaining media attention as a unique stay opportunity for domestic and international guests.
The Role
As a Guest Experience Host, you'll be the welcoming face of Wilderluxe. Your role is to ensure our guests feel cared for from the moment they make a booking until the moment they leave. You will be responsible for greeting guests, coordinating check-ins and check-outs, preparing tents to an impeccable standard, sharing local knowledge and creating unforgettable moments to enhance their stay.
This is a casual position with regular hours and potential to take on more leadership opportunities across Wilderluxe and the Reflections Lake Keepit Park operations. Cooperation, and the ability to work across Wilderluxe and the Lake Keepit park will be critical.
The purpose of the role is to carry out guest services duties within the park, provide excellent customer service experience every time, and represent Reflections Holidays in a positive manner.
Key responsibilities of a Guest Experience Host include:
* Provide exceptional customer service including liaising with guests face to face; via telephone and internet for bookings, enquiries, and complaints.
* Organising and preparing guest requirements such as breakfast packs, picnic hampers and other food related options.
* Have RMS, Newbook or similar reservations system experience.
* Undertake general office duties, banking, and cleaning of office/kiosk.
* Prepare correspondence, record keeping of all mail and carry out filing in accordance with procedures.
* Assist Park Manager and Supervisors with the opening and closing of office and kiosk/store.
* Receiving and dispensing of monies via computerised point of sale register.
* Assist Supervisor with stock take and invoicing for kiosk, store, cabin, office, and cleaning equipment and chemicals.
* Assist and direct visitors within the park and as they enter the park.
* Assist Guest Services Supervisor in social media administration at park level as required.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in:
* A front office/reception setting, within a small team.
* Food handling and preparation.
* Responsible service of alcohol, or willingness to obtain.
* Housekeeping and/or cleaning, and stock control.
* Administration and cash handling.
* Complaint handling and conflict resolution.
* Impeccable grooming and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
Experience in the hospitality and/or tourism industry is desirable.
To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to:
* Work productively and independently.
* Deliver an excellent guest experience, strong communication skills and a professional phone manner.
* Manage time to meet priorities.
* Learn quickly, use initiative, and adapt to changing work environments.
* Lead others and support growth within a small team.
* Utilise computer systems (including MS Office), reservation software, and CRM systems proficiently.
* Provide flexible availability including weekends, peak holiday season, and public holiday.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Great teamwork and communication skills.
