We are seeking reliable and self-motivated individuals to join our small, dynamic team for an immediate start.
We have vacancies for early morning and afternoon logistics drivers, This role will commence on a casual basis with the potential to transition to part-time employment for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Operate a heavy rigid (HR/MR) truck to transport goods safely and efficiently.
* Load and unload freight using a forklift, ensuring proper handling and secure loads.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
* Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
* Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes and schedules.
* Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
* Communicate with administration and clients in a professional manner.
* Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
* Comply with WHS and NHVR Acts and Regulations, including fatigue and speed management.
Qualifications:
* Valid driver's license (clean driving record).
* Minimum of 2+ years heavy vehicle (HR) driving experience required.
* Ability to lift and carry packages (up to 20kg).
* Knowledge of the local Fleurieu area
* Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
