This is a senior commercial leadership role within a global industrial technology organisation that plays a critical role in keeping Western Australia's mining and resources sector operating safely, efficiently and at scale.
The Business partners with major mining operators, EPCs, OEMs and service contractors across surface and underground operations, delivering engineered automation and control solutions that sit at the heart of production, processing and materials handling.
With sustained investment in WA and a clear growth mandate, the organisation is now seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead the region.
The opportunity
As Head of Sales – WA, you will own the commercial performance of the Western Australian region, with a strong focus on mining, resources and heavy industry. You will lead a multi-layered sales organisation across direct and indirect channels, setting strategy, building capability and driving market share growth across key accounts and sites.
This is a leadership role with real autonomy. You will shape the regional sales agenda, influence national strategy and act as a senior face of the business within the WA mining community.
What you will be responsible for
You will lead and develop Sales Managers and account teams, ensuring the right structure, capability and coverage across WA's geographically dispersed mining operations. You will drive disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and execution against budget, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and long-term customer relationships.
A key part of the role is leveraging deep mining market knowledge, understanding site-level decision making, project lifecycles and contractor ecosystems to identify opportunities early and convert them through structured account strategies.
You will work closely with distributors, internal technical specialists and national leaders to deliver tailored solutions that solve real operational problems for customers operating in demanding environments.

You will have led teams through growth cycles, managed complex sales pipelines and worked effectively with distributor and channel partners.
Technical qualifications in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics are highly regarded, as is strong commercial and business acumen.
