About You
You will come from a Café/ Hospitality environment and be able to make a great coffee. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is truly passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and has meticulous attention to detail in all tasks. In this position, you will engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering a welcoming environment while addressing their needs. A strong understanding of food safety practices, including hygiene regulations and basic food preparation skills, is essential to maintaining a safe and clean café environment. Your ability to work collaboratively with café staff and management will ensure smooth operations. With a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation, you will uphold high hygiene and aesthetic standards. About The Role
This is not an average café, as we are not open to the public; your key customers will be the coffee‐loving Journey Beyond team and visitors to the office. As a Café Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include taking orders and serving a variety of coffees and drinks to JB staff and guests, welcoming guests & visitors to the Journey Beyond Head office, setting up and packing down the café, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the office kitchens and breakout areas are well‐stocked and tidy each day.
You will also assist the Office Coordinator with event set‐up and clean‐up for board meetings and monthly staff mixers, liaise with suppliers and facility contractors, and enhance the overall experience for everyone involved.
This is a permanent part‐time position, Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, with flexibility to cover additional busy periods and leave for other café staff.
