The Role
Council is seeking an experienced Principal Civil Designer with demonstrated high level skills and knowledge in civil engineering design to join its Infrastructure team. This is a pivotal role where you will be required to deliver high-quality investigation, survey, design, drafting and documentation for major infrastructure projects. You will apply your expertise to prepare and critically review detailed designs, drawings and cost estimates to ensure compliance with Council policies, codes and quality standards.

Mandatory Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) or Associate Degree of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification relevant to the duties of the position and substantial work experience relevant to the position;
Extensive experience in municipal infrastructure design, drafting, estimating and project documentation;
Possess or have the ability to acquire Construction Industry Induction (White Card); and
Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver's licence.
Annual Salary between $101,569 to $108,291 (QLGIA (Stream A) Level 6, depending on qualifications, skills and experience;
