Your key responsibilities: * Lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of category plans and procurement initiatives aligned to agreed customer needs and system-wide priorities, maximising value-for-money outcomes. * Develop and maintain deep category, product and supplier market intelligence, including structured knowledge repositories, to inform category strategies, sub-category plans and effective commercial negotiations. * Undertake robust analysis of customer requirements, demand patterns and specifications to underpin evidence-based category strategies and sourcing decisions. Role fit * Demonstrated experience leading medium to high-value, high-complexity sourcing activities, including complex tenders and the development and implementation of supplier transition plans. * Builds collaborative and respectful working relationships and contributes positively as a senior member of the team, recognising the value of diversity and inclusion. * Applies critical thinking, data analysis and advisory and continuous improvement frameworks to solve complex problems and deliver sustainable solutions.
