About the Role
As Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in leading daily kitchen operations and delivering high‐quality, consistent food across all service periods. This is a hands‐on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and enjoys mentoring others.
What You'll Do
* Support the Head Chef with day‐to‐day kitchen operations
* Lead and guide junior chefs, fostering a positive team culture
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
* Assist with menu execution and development
* Manage stock rotation, ordering, and waste control
* Uphold all Health & Safety and HACCP requirements
About You
You're an experienced Chef and bring professionalism, passion for food, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
You'll Bring
* 2+ years' experience in a high‐volume pub or similar venue
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to stay calm and organised during busy service
* A passion for quality, consistency, and teamwork
* Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
