About the Emergency Department
- 50,000+ presentations annually
- 25% paediatric case mix
- Supervised by Emergency Physicians and Rural Generalists
- 16-hour senior coverage + after-hours on-call consultant availability
- Team includes: 20 PHO/Registrars, 8 RMOs, 6 Interns
- Strong clinical and educational support across the roster
Your Role
- Assess and manage emergency presentations under supervision
- Support and mentor junior medical staff
- Contribute to team-based, patient-focused emergency care
- Gain the clinical skills and experience necessary for career progression in emergency medicine
About You
- MBBS or equivalent, eligible for AHPRA registration (Level 3 supervision minimum)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure environments
