The casemix of QCH provides registrars with exposure to the full range of subspecialties including Neurointensive care, trauma & burns, cardiac intensive care and ECLS, liver transplant, and oncology and BMT. In addition, registrars may have the opportunity to work for the Paediatric Retrieval Service (CHQRS). All registrars are rostered for protected education time and are supported to be involved in quality improvement projects, as well as research projects with the support of the Paediatric Critical Care Research Group.
