Our client, a leading Food and Beverage Systems Supplier are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join the team based in Tullamarine. This role offers long-term career growth, and the opportunity to join a market leading business.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
* Cleaning machinery and test running machinery
* Provide technical support for mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues
* Identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions
* Support internal teams (Sales, Spare Parts, and Projects) with technical expertise and service-related input
* Coordinate with internal teams and assist with cost estimates and service planning
* Adhere to all company safety policies, customer HSE standards, and OSHA regulations
* Maintain a strong commitment to safe work practices at all times
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the service team and customer needs
About You
* Experience within manufacturing – open to industries
* Proven experience servicing sanitary valves, pumps, heat exchangers, and related hygienic process equipment
* Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
* Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
* Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail
