Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Project Engineer / Quality Engineer for an immediate start to become part of our team, delivering a secured project. The successful candidate will be required to work a 2 week on / 1 week off roster in remote QLD (FIFO Role).
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Assist the project team in planning, management and delivery of civil earthworks projects
* Develop and maintain quality control procedures and systems for a mining based civil bulk earthworks project.
* Create and maintain Inspection and Test Registers (ITPs) and Project Master Deliverables Register (MDR)
* Manage procurement of materials required to execute projects.
* Coordinate sub-contactors to ensure workmanship aligns with project quality requirements.
* Record all site quality data and documentation in line with filing procedures
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
* Tertiary education in engineering, project management or related field.
* Minimum 3 years industry relevant working experience in a similar role.
* Exceptional communication skills, written and oral.
* Computer literacy including Microsoft Office products.
* Sound understanding of civil earthworks projects and earthmoving machinery.
To successfully perform in this role, you will need to be exceptionally organised, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be attentive to detail. This role is FIFO (Brisbane or Townsville) and working a 2 week on / 1 week off roster.
