About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic CSSD Manager to join our clinical team on a full time basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster, with occasional Saturday shifts.
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Lead the CSSD team in cleaning and sterilisation services
- Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
- Undertake quality improvement activities for the department
- Monitor CSSD equipment and stock levels and order as required
- Ensure daily equipment checks are completed and usage records maintained
About You:
You have a genuine passion for customer service, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role
- Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards
- Experience with Quality Improvement activities, Infection Control Management and Accreditation processes
- Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements

Our hospital includes 5 fully integrated operating theatres, stage 1 and stage 2 recovery areas and a 19 bed overnight ward.
