Job Description
We're seeking a commercially minded operational leader to drive profitability, efficiency, and growth across the business. This role oversees finance, procurement, and operational functions, ensuring strong financial control, strategic sourcing, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial and operational strategy to optimise profitability and ensure regulatory compliance. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Drive cost reduction, margin improvement, and operational efficiency across all departments.
- Lead procurement strategy, supplier negotiations, and supply chain optimisation.
- Implement technology and systems to enhance automation, reporting, and real‑time insight.
- Lead, coach, and develop finance and procurement teams while fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
- Partner with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to align business goals and deliver results.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Manager should have:
- CPA, CA, Qualified
- Business / Finance or relevant degree
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience in a product‑related business – FMCG, Manufacturing etc.
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Comfortable with 5 days in‑office
