We are a leading height safety installation company based in Western Victoria. We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Height Safety Installer to join our regional team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety of workers across Victorian construction, industrial, and commercial sites by installing and certifying fall-protection systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation: Physical installation of roof anchors, static lines, industrial ladders, guardrails, and walkway systems.
* Compliance: Conduct recertification inspections and pull-testing of existing height safety systems to Australian Standards (AS1891).
* Technical: Reading and interpreting site plans and layout designs to ensure 100% compliant fall-protection coverage.
* Safety: Drafting and following Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and conducting daily on-site risk assessments.
* Maintenance: Power tool operation and manual handling of steel and aluminum components at heights.
Essential Requirements
* Experience: Minimum 2+ years in height safety, scaffolding, roofing, or structural steel erection.
* Physical Fitness: Must be comfortable working at significant heights and in varying weather conditions.
* Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License (essential for site travel).
* Communication: Strong English skills for reading technical manuals and completing safety documentation.
* Commitment: A genuine desire to live and work in the Western Victoria/Regional Victoria area long-term.
Preferred Qualifications (Or willing to obtain)
* White Card (Construction Induction).
* RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights.
* EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Ticket.
