**The Role**
The role of the Quality & Risk Manager (QRM) is to assist Heavy Air Lift Systems Program Office (HALSPO) in conforming to Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) quality standards and associated regulations. The QRM supports the deployment of CASG Business Management System (BMS), Air Domain's House of Governance (HoG), HALSPO's Quality, Risk and Business System, the HALSPO HoG website, to enable HALSPO to retain ISO 9001:2015 certification within the CASG organisation.
QRM manager is responsible for identifying the risks, non-conformances and non-compliance's by guiding HALSPO to review it's systems, process's, objectives, and goals that determines if the procedures and it's intended deliverables are effective. QRM's analyse data gathered and plan accordingly to support the improvement of HALSPO's deliverables.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing strategic and administrative support to the HALSPO Deputy Director Governance & Strategy.
- Provide detailed quality assurance professional advice.
- Maintaining the policies, procedures, and guidance related to HALSPO Management Systems.
- Working independently with reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of business outcomes.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and actively participate in teamwork and group activities.
- Provide a high level of quality, auditing and compliance, and assurance administration.
- Be accountable for ongoing self-improvement, professional development and active contribution towards business improvements.
**About our Team**
HALSPO is responsible for the cost effective sustainment of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-17, KC-30A and Special Purpose Aircraft (BBJ & Falcon 7X) in supporting Air Mobility Group in achievement of their mission.
HALSPO was established in 2007 and consists of Australian Public Service (APS) and Australian Defence Force (ADF) specialist positions to manage the logistics, contracting and corporate governance aspects associated with supporting the KC-30A and C-17 Weapon Systems and Special Purpose Aircraft. HALSPO is located at RAAF Base Amberley, approximately 50 km south west of Brisbane.
