Job Title: Project Engineer - Utilities (Water)
Location: Brisbane Office with travel to site; UTE provided.

About the Company and Role:
Join a leading JV dedicated to providing water solutions in Water Infrastructure across Brisbane. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering a variety of projects, including maintenance, inspections, and renewals for mechanical, electrical, and civil assets.
Responsibilities:
* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverable in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
* Provide technical advice and support throughout all project phases.
* Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to milestones.
* Coordinate with engineering teams to meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
* Attend planning visits and concept reviews.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Provide project updates and address concerns with clients and stakeholders.
* Develop safety assessment reports and ensure adherence to SHEQ standards.
* Monitor project performance and progress, developing solutions as needed.
About You:
* Engineering degree (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical).
* On-site project experience in a similar role.
* Experience in water infrastructure construction projects, including Water Treatment Plants.
* Proficiency in project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design, and contracts.
* Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
* Working knowledge of engineering codes and safety standards.
* Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
* Experience in scope of works and subcontractor agreements development.
* Financial management and reporting skills, including budgeting.
* Experience in the water/wastewater industry in SEQ preferred.
